My Client is an Independent Community Pharmacy in Wallasey. We are working seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join their existing Pharmacy team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the Pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of medications, offering excellent customer service, and ensuring the smooth and efficient operations within the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions under the supervision of a registered pharmacist
• Label and package medicines according to legal and company standards
• Manage stock levels, check expiry dates, and maintain accurate records of medications
• Answer customer queries both in person and over the phone in a friendly and professional manner
• Ensure prescriptions are processed safely and efficiently, including controlled drugs and private prescriptions
• Support the pharmacist with administrative duties such as filing, ordering stock, and maintaining patient records
• Adhere to all NHS, GPhC, and company policies and procedures
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy

Skills
• NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent (essential)
• Previous experience working in a community pharmacy setting (essential)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills (essential)
• High attention to detail and accuracy (essential)
• Ability to work well in a team and under pressure (essential)
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems (e.g., ProScript, RXWeb etc.) (essential)
• A customer-focused attitude and professional demeanour (essential)
